I made this card using the faux wood technique. I used mirrored card for the background, and the Bear image was cut from wall paper sample.

Well Ruth is working hard on the last Card, I decided I wanted to go to Scrappy Chic, she took a break and off we went.We didn't get much I rented Hannah Montana Cartridge and purchased a few sheets of paper.

This weeks Challenge on Papercraft Planet you had to use green and blue , yellow and orange and a cuttlebug embossing folder and no stamped image. This is what I came up with.

This was suppose to be for last weeks sketch challenge on Papercraft Planet but I wasn't feeling well and didn't have a chance to post it.

Messed up Cards

Ruth and I made these cards but when we used the staz on ink it stuck to the cards and tore the paper, I tried filling in the spaces with a white pen, but Ruth got mad, she said here I don't want it! LOL. We still had a fun day. I have been sick so being out with her made me feel so much better.

2009 Woodward Dream Cruise

Well the bus has arrived my hubby is off to the 2009 Woodward Dream Cruise, His friend Jeff own this Coach and he decided to take the bus on the cruise. My hubby and other's on the block got curb side pick -up. He will pick the other's up at the meeting place.

I Did It!

I have been trying for years to grow sunflowers, and every year the squirrels eat them up, so this year I decided to grow giant sunflowers,and it worked the squirrels didn't bother them and now they are starting to bloom.Yeah!

Swap Group

This Month Theme for my swap group was favorite back round technique or die cut card I chose back round technique. Its done by dropping alcohol inks on glossy paper and using Dust Remover Spray to move the paint around.

Cuttlebug Challenge Card

This is this week Cuttlebug Challenge Card at Papercraft Planet we were to paint the embossing folder with ink using a brayer, I used white ink on the folder, and since my daughter asked me to make a card for her for a child I decided to make my card a Birthday Card.

2009 Heirloom Rubberstamp Convention

Here are things made at the Convention. I had a Great Time this year, I went both Saturday and Sunday and stayed from the time they opened to the time they closed. I was a bit upset that they will be moving the show to a different area next year.

Novi Rubber Stamp & Paper & Art Festival 2009

Well the weekend is over and so is the 2009 HeirLoom Stamp Convention held in Novi MI. I had a great time with my friends, I didn't spend too much money and I didn't charge anything, we saw so many different products.The thing that caught my eye was a new product That Prickly Pear had that you can make your own rub ons with that was the best thing. They had lots of make n takes I will post them later, but first I'd better clean off the Dinning Room Table my husband hates when I clutter it. It's fun to shop for all the goddies but I hate to put them away. After a weekend of fun its time to get back to the real world.
