This is a card I made by just picking out a sheet of paper and then the cardstock and embellishments and this is what I came up with.

Play Date

My Daughter Valorie set me up a play date with her co-worker at Michaels. We had a great time and I was very pleased with our visit, she was just finishing up a big Christmas Card order so I came just in time to make two Christmas cards. She had everything organized so well, she had so many stamp and so much paper.I will definitely be using some of her organization tips.I can hardly wait to see what I make next time.

Make N Takes

These are the items I made at the Convention
From Right to Left: The first card was made at the Achivers station little black notebook I made at the Book Binder Station. The paper they used for the note book was so soft almost like suede, but nobody new what kind of paper it was or where I could get it from. The black tag was made from paper called black magic when you sanded it another color came through. In the middle was a Tag Card with Indians stamped on tan paper they were cute but the stamp pad was almost dry.The bottom row: The scallop card, and the rose was watered colored in with pearl x and then coated with sugar dust. Last is tag sponge painted and stamped with collage stamps. I sure miss the days when we did lots of make n takes.

Embrace Life Card

I saw a card something like this on a tutorial using an eraser and ruler to make the lines and to highlight images it looked like a lot of fun, I saw this being demonstrated at a convention and they said you couldn't use a regular eraser you had use the special one that they sold, but on Dawn's tutorial she use a regular pencil so I tried it and it worked and here's proof.
